Okay, first things first..
Oh pictures, pictures..
As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm uploading a pic of the place where i'm having my postings, so here it is (finally):
Right, so there they are..1st & 2nd is the pic of the main building, 3rd is the view of the driveway where the maternity block can also be seen (right side of the pic), the last pic is the pic of the maternity block which is situated a bit uphill compared to the main block (you could also see rose bushes which would have been beautiful if only i'd taken them during full bloom).
It's not really a big hospital. It actually started out as a maternity home founded by a group of nuns before it slowly become what it is now. There is a convent plus hostels/guest houses behind that maternity block. That's where the sisters/nuns and some nurses stay. Occasionally, they do have guests. We had a student volunteer from Germany recently and she stayed there with the sisters. Some may catch a glimpse of a building behind those tall trees on the right hand side of the last pic. Well that's the Carmelite Provincialate, which is situated next door to the hospital. In short, i find this a lovely place. Eventhough it's not as big or as busy as other hospitals especially back home, i am definitely learning a lot (which is of course provided the inexperienced, less knowledgeable person i am now ;p).
Anyway, tomorrow is a Saturday but it's also an official holiday in celebration of the Indian Independence Day (Aug 15). So I could have a good rest, yeah hehe.. I still have a lot to do though, as i said exams are coming soon huhu.. but holiday will come after that and i'll be going home!! Yes, so let's work hard now & play hard later hohoh.. Time to rev up, oh but before that, some coffee..
